Tuition Policy
Semester classes are billed on a monthly basis for the time period listed on the sign up page. Private lesson packages are paid up front in one single payment.
Discontinuation of Classes
For Semester Classes ACA requires at least 30 days notice to end your enrollment and stop your billing. ACA Swim School does not issue refunds. You can set your end date emailing class@acaswimschool.com. You will receive a confirmation with your selected end date. If you do not receive that, the system has not recognized an end date for your classes. For private lesson packages, notice of cancellation must be given a week in advance before your next monthly schedule begins in order to receive a refund of the remaining lessons. If you fail to give notice before the the next monthly schedule begins you will forfeit any remaining classes in the current month and only receive a refund of the following month's remaining lessons.
Medical Related Cancellation
In cases of illness or injury that will keep students out of the pool for multiple classes (up to four), we're able to credit with a doctor's note sent in. Should your child need to be out of the water for more than four weeks, ACA Swim School reserves the right to place your child in a class that is best suited for their current condition. We do not credit for one-off medical absences, even if a doctor's note is submitted.
Makeup Lessons: Attendance and Commitment to Swim Class Policy
We truly expect our swimmers to attend every lesson in which the student is registered. Swimming is a discipline where we teach technique by that requires a student to be committed. Swimmers who do not attend lessons on a regular basis will quickly fall behind, and not build the necessary skills and strength needed to succeed and move to a higher level. Students or their guardians are expected to notify us in the event they will be absent from class. The ONLY acceptable excused absences are illness, injury, observance of a religious holiday, or family emergency.
Swimmer Lesson Make-up Policy: Swimmers with an excused absence may make up a missed lesson by attending another lesson of the SAME LEVEL or a LOWER LEVEL, if space is available. Swimmers and or parents must call and pre-arrange a make up class. Swimmers must make up missed classes within the session. Missed lessons will be lost lessons. Tuition will not be refunded for unattended lessons or lessons that are not made up. Swimmers may request two makeup lessons per session. We cannot guarantee a specific time, instructor, or class type for make-up classes though we will do our best! If you need to miss a class, please let us know as soon as possible. Make-ups are not guaranteed. ACA Swim School does not offer credits or refunds for weather if pools are open as regularly scheduled.

We schedule our instructors to teach on a consistent basis. That is in the best interest of the instructor, the swimmer and the family. Absences are unplanned and our instructors have a strong record of attendance.

All parents and guardians are urged to not feed children at least 1 -2 hours before swim lessons (especially chocolate). All children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers. If a child is in the process of being potty trained, they must wear a swim diaper during class.
